The organizers have asked Circle of Rodu to lead the Opening Ritual to kick off Greater Chicagoland Pagan Pride Day, and we’ve said yes!

The date has been set for September 27, 2026. The public is welcome starting at 10 a.m., and Circle of Rodu will begin at 10:30 sharp—I don’t do “Pagan Standard Time”!

The location once again is Riis Park on the far northwest side of the city, at the intersection of Narragansett and Fullerton Avenues. Parking, while not abundant, at least is free!

There is no cost to attend Pagan Pride but folks are encouraged to please bring at least one nonperishable food item, which will be collected by a food pantry called Nourishing Hope.

In addition to hosting the Opening Ritual, Circle of Rodu is a sponsor of Greater Chicagoland Pagan Pride (GCPP). Please consider donating money or volunteering your time to help GCPP; they definitely could use the greater Pagan community’s help!

My workshop on Understanding Slavic Native Faith and Dual-Faith Traditions takes place at 11:30. Several workshops will be given throughout the day by amazing folks so definitely plan on making a day of it!
