I’ve dubbed the Summer of 2026 my “Summer of Healing.” As I continue to navigate the murky labyrinth of grieving my mother’s death, I’m working on creating healing experiences that are tied to travel and to forging community connections.
I’m thrilled to announce I’m attending my first-ever Mystic South Pagan conference, which is largely sponsored by my publisher, Llewellyn Worldwide. While I’m primarily there for a five-day vacation, I will be signing copies of Slava! on Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 2 EDT. All authors are being hosted by the Sojourner Booth local bookseller, who is sponsoring a stage at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Atlanta.

I hope to meet as many local Pagan peeps as I can during my stay. Please stop by and say hello!
Perundan, the feast day of the god Perun, is on July 20, the day I check out of the hotel. Will I do a devotional ritual in my room or at an outdoor venue elsewhere in the South during my long drive back to Illinois?

Stay tuned, gentle reader!
